Really, Spring is getting close because I am having such luck this past week finding bright green patches of grass to work with! It’s been way too long. I had a great time with these two little  cuties and their extended family this past Sunday. They were an absolute delight to work with. This mom & dad have done an exceptional job with their children I must add. Here is a quick sneak peek for the family. I should be done with the rest by the end of the week. Thanks for your patients!!

OK so this weeks Mine On Monday is really kind of late, but at least Monday is not officially over right? For the boys 7th birthday a few weeks ago we took the whole family down to the San Antonio Zoo. We had never been and it was a lot of fun. Of course it was a Saturday which = too many people. But we had a great time anyways. Here are some highlights from the trip.

For any photographers that may be reading this, the inside pitch black, dark,  aquarium, the shots were taken with my Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4 lens, ISO 1000, 1/80S, 2.2 Always amazed at how well the D700 handles such low light with no grain. Love, Love, Love! My D200 could have never pulled that off.

Snow Day {Austin Children’s Photographer}

On Tuesday it snowed here in Austin, really, real snow, that lasted more than 15 minutes. It actually snowed from 5am-8pm. We had a few inches to play in. It was great fun. I am so thankful for our great neighbors that came out to play with us. We all built snowmen & snow ladies in our yards. We even had a chance to sled down our hilly yards. That was so much fun! The kids had a blast, and were  freezing but it was worth it. Here are some snap shots from the day. (we couldn’t find a hat for our snowman, but  you all know we have an abundance of bows & headbands laying around so we made a snow lady instead.)

Jackson {Austin Baby Photographer}

This little man is on my baby plan (he graces the top of my blog at his newborn session). Jackson has such a cool, artsy, mom & dad. I just love mom’s style. I had a great time with them downtown. So much variety, cool textures and a lot of options to work with. It’s even better when the mom & dad are up for anything. He is the most laid back baby ever & was so mellow as we messed with him, changed him etc.. not a peep out of him. I don’t believe he knows how to cry! ha!Thanks B. family I look forward to his 1 yr session this summer.
