More From Our Houston Family
December 17, 2009 – 4:44 pm
I am all caught up with my sessions, Christmas cards, almost on all the orders, wow! So I am going to take some time and blog more of our family. This is Rick’s sister Melissa & her sweet family. These kids are and always have been really the most well behaved, loving kids I’ve ever met. Still trying to figure out Melissa & Steve’s trick to parenting. : ) Love you all!
Midland Family {Austin Family Photographer}
December 14, 2009 – 4:09 pm
This sweet family is Rick’s (my husband’s) brother & family. They live in Midland. Over thanksgiving we were able to fit in a quick session. Seriously, working with older kids = quick! I did all of these photos plus more in less than 10 minutes. Very fun! Rick’s parents live in downtown Houston and they have these really cool tracks right across the street.
The Irish Triplets {Kingwood Family Photographer}
December 5, 2009 – 11:42 pm
Everyone knows one toddler can be very difficult to take photos of, but 3 ages 4,3 & 2 could put any photographer into a panic. But not these three. They were fabulous! In fact it was a record short session. They were so good I was able to finish in 45 minutes or so. Of course there are so many more you have not see, like the grandparent shots, the large family group & the Aunt & Uncle. So 45 min. was really good! This family is like a glimpse into what my life was like when my twins were 2 and I had a 1 yr old. It was a little crazy at times, so I know what this mama is going through first hand. Thanks Leslie family it was so great seeing you again!! (last session was two years ago, when they were all under 3!)
Triple the Fun {The Woodlands Triplet Photographer}
December 3, 2009 – 10:49 pm
If you knew their mama you wouldn’t believe that she could even carry triplets, but she did! All 10 lbs of her, just kidding Tina! These babies were born at 27 weeks?? And now they are almost 8 years old. I love these shots because it shows all their missing teeth, which is such a fun stage to be in. These kids were tons of fun. Thanks J,T & A! You three are such a fun “set”!
Sneak Peek Sunday {Woodlands, Kingwood, Houston Family Photographer}
November 30, 2009 – 1:55 am
Ok I know it’s not really Sunday anymore but it sounded better than Monday. Here I am editing into the wee hours of the morning. We are back from Houston visiting our family. While I was there I did several sessions. Of course I have not even edited them yet but for now I wanted to get a little something up to show the families. Remember last week I said it was going to be multiples week, well here it goes…
First up a set of beautiful, identical girls. Ever try to edit a set of identicals? Identicals = tricky for editing, (did I show L or was it J? Or did I show the same girl twice? ha!)
And the newest member to their family… baby boy Shawn
Triplet set #1, I met this family when these cuties were only 1 yr old. We had our newborn twins at church and they were new & came over to introduce themselves. Tina taught me the “ropes” of raising multiples. The boys (below) are identical and the middle girly, girl is a carbon copy of her mama.
Kingwood family- I love the next one, such a precious moment caught with this beautiful mommy & her busy toddler. This can only last a half second before he is on the run again!
Ever heard of Irish Twins or Triplets? Well that is what these little ones are… Born within 11 months of each other. (having flashbacks to my own family). The big boy is 12 months older than the girl and the girl is 11 months older than the baby boy. Crazy huh? And the mommy still manages to look so darn good (above).
Triplet set #2- The Mathews girls, our dear friends in the Woodlands. So they are not technically identical (the two on the left) but according to mommy, only a handful of people can tell them apart. All was well in the first outfit with the monograms and then we changed them into the tutus & I was lost. ha! Aren’t they a site? They are such little firecrackers I love them!
And of course they have a cute big brother to ward off the boys later on… Check out his lashes!
And last but not least…My brother & sister-in-laws family on the train tracks. They are, or should I say Leslie is, super creative and had lots of ideas about wearing the boots on the tracks etc.. I think we captured some fun ones.
So if I don’t answer your emails or phone calls for a few days you’ll know what I am doing. There is so much to catch up on and last minute cards to fill. I promise some more later this week when I come up for some air.
