Happy 80th Birthday Mamoo! {Austin Large Family Group Photographer}

On Saturday I had the pleasure of meeting this large family, who got together for Mamoo (the grandmother)’s 80th birthday. They were so much fun. At the end of the session, Mamoo requested her picture to be taken on the side of the pool, I took the picture and then she fell in! She had the best attitude about it and I even snapped one of those. We all had a big laugh with her. Here are just a  few of  the families that were there.

Lakeside Family {Austin Family Photographer}

I love when families take the time, while on their vacation to have a family photo made. This family traveled from the DC area to visit their Austin family. I just loved the Grandma, she was stunning and sweet as can be. So nice to meet you G. family!

We Are Family…. {Austin Family Photogrpaher}

Such a lively, fun family to work with! It’s so clear they love each other so much and are very close to each other. And the dad/grandfather is a hoot! It was such a pleasure working with you all!

Family Time {Austin Family Photographer}

Austin is really greening up & the tress are starting to bloom. I am so excited about this and am on a search with all my sessions right now to hunt out green grass & pretty trees.  Last week I meet up with this incredible family. Ashley & Ryan go to church with us and do so much for our young families class. Ashley’s parents bought this session at a fundraiser for a children’s home here in Austin that our class supports.  Here are some of my favorites from their session.

Check out this head of curls?! How pretty is this little one? Her little nick name is “Skittle” how cute is that?

It Was Freezing! {Austin Family Photographer}

What I mean is “we” were freezing! These kids were little troopers and stuck through the cold, cold weather for their mom and dad tonight. I don’t think mine would have done as well with smiles on their faces like these two cuties did. Here are a few for now, more to come later on in the week. Thanks J. family for sticking out the cold. I promise to make it worth it!

The Epperson Family {Austin Family Photographer}

Remember this little dumpling from November 08??

Here she is now! All grown up into a big 1 yr old pretty girl!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing her extended family, they came from Austin, Kyle & the Dallas area. The weather was so perfect for their session & the kids had a great time running around. Thanks Eppersons!

Stunning Family

I love big families, I have one- 5 kids of my own. So when this mommy contacted me I was excited to meet her, someone with more kids than me! ha! Of course the thought of photographing 6 children can easily scare away any photographer. ha! Not these 6! They were amazing, well behaved, adorable, kind and did whatever I asked them too. It could be possibly the fastest family session yet. Here are my favorites. Great job mom & dad just getting everyone in one place on the same day (1 is in college, 1 is a hs senior & the others have activities).

Elk, Deer & More Sun Flare

This weekend I had a TX ranch theme going on. Tonight I traveled to beautiful, peaceful town an hour East of Austin. This family ranch of 300 acres was amazing. I have only just downloaded the shots, and there are many  more to come this week. I ran across these two with some great sun flare & huge Elk in the background.  Here they are at sunset.

The Rampys

These are our friends, The Rampy Family. Hayden’s sweet mom planned this  session a long time ago, even flying in one of her sons. So when the weekend came and there was a lot of rain, I was pretty worried. We switched their time around and got what we needed before the rain hit. I LOVE a good cloudy day, it makes for great lighting, right in the middle of the day too.

This shot makes me laugh, the kids are just doing their own thing here. Love it, kids being kids.

I feel the need to mention that these two cuties are actually twins! Ya, no kidding, the most different looking twins of all time. And we thought our’s looked different, these two win the prize though. Little D&H are friends with my Parker.

Ladies in Fredericksburg

I traveled SW of Austin to a swanky lil town called Fredericksburg. I was there last Nov. on this same 900 acre ranch doing a session with this family.They asked me to come back this spring to do a session for their ladies retreat. 26 ladies are a hoot to be with. Here are some of their group shots that I loved.

When I arrived they picked me up on a golf-cart (mule) and we rounded the corner and this is what I saw! They were all ready for me waiting in this cool, classic Buick. I just had to laugh.

Thanks ladies for such a fun time!
