Behind The Scenes Of A Newborn Shoot {Austin Newborn Photographer}
July 22, 2010 – 1:35 pm
People often wonder what the behind the scenes looks like at a newborn shoot. I find it to be pretty funny. So the other day while at baby Cash’s session I took a step back and snached this shot of mom & dad working hard. Please note that it was in the 90’s outside, we were sweating bullets, but this little guy actually liked it and preformed beautifully for us.

Here is the outcome from above:

My sister-in-law and her husband just had their 2nd baby back in May. They traveled through Austin on their way to Houston yesterday and we were able to get some great shots of him. Many of you know I shoot all my newborns at 4-7 days old. Well I was a little *stressed* that he was like 27 days old?! He did great for me though, and slept like a champ while I messed with him, including his cute spiky hair! T- enjoy your little peek.
Baby Brynna {Austin Newborn Photographer}

Baby Brynna was such a little star for us on Sunday, one of the easiest, newborns I have worked with. She happily did what I “asked” her to do. Including laying between the tree trunks with a bear hat on. ha! I’m not surprised though because she is the 4th baby to a very, calm, sweet natured family. Thank you Smith family for letting us come over and “play” with her.

More of Baby Cale From Colorado {Austin Newborn Photographer}
May 6, 2010 – 8:19 pm
This is one of my favorite newborn sessions. Mainly because I had so much time to work with him that I was able to get in “almost” everything that I wanted to do. That’s hard when you only have two hours or so at a typical newborn session. But with this one I had one full day plus a quick morning session too. This first one is by far my favorite and I think it was the last one I took while in Colorado. He was such a good little buddy the entire time AND he was 11 days old, which totally breaks my rules of all babies must be 7 days old or younger! ha! He showed me, huh?
