Many of you know that I went to Florida State University, I’m  proud to be a Seminole. We have the gear, stuff on our car, and on and on. Big fan. So it was a Saturday, I was naturally wearing my Garnet and Gold – Go Noles- shirt to my newborn session. I walk in the door, to meet a family I didn’t know and guess what? He was a University of Florida grad. our biggest rival. It’s equal to the UT  & TX A&M rival. What are the odds? It’s not like we’re in FL or anything.  I’m surprised he let me in the door. ha! Their newborn girl just so happened to be a little love so I let the Gator stuff slide. Her Dad did promise me that at her 6 month session she would be sporting the orange and blue. Oh boy, I’ll have to remember to wear my colors & hope that we win this November.

Laid back little lady she was. Baby Sofie did whatever she was asked to do, LOVE that!

One thing I can say about the 79 days days of 100+ temperatures here in Austin, is that it will put *almost* any newborn right to sleep. This little lady, did so well that we decided to do her newborn session all outdoors.  Baby Sofie is the fourth little lady to this sweet family. I absolutely  love working with 4th time around parents, they are so relaxed and it reminds me so much of my own home. Lots of little bodies running around. I should have taken a “behind the scenes” shot for you all. As I took this series below, the other three girls, ages 2,3,4 were driving a barbie jeep doing circles around mom, dad and I. It  makes me laugh because that’s about how things are done at my house too. SOOO great seeing you all again, A & M. Here’s a quick peek.
