Cozy Closed! {Austin Senior, Family, Newborn Photographer}

Cozy will be closed February 5-12 for a much needed vacation to the warm, sunny Caribbean. So the hubs and I are sailing away to Jamaica, Grand Cayman & Cozumel for the week. But before we are whisked away by the sea,  I have some Houston Seniors to photograph so be looking for them when I get back! All emails, phone calls, texts and orders will be put on hold until Dec. 12. If you are awaiting on an order be patient I will get to you as soon as I return. For those of you about to deliver  and are waiting to set your exact newborn session date (you all know who you are) just drop an email and I’ll fit you in the week I return. Thanks!

And what’s a post without an image?

It’s That Time Again… {Austin Senior Photographer}

JP ~ Class of 2012 {Austin Senior Photographer}

On Sunday I headed down to Boerne, TX, which is a quaint little town with the nicest people around. While I was there I shot a large family group and threw in  a mini senior session of JP.  He  was so grounded and comes from an incredible family. Here’s a quick peek.

Landon. Class of 2012. Providence Classical Academy. {Austin & The Woodlands Senior Photographer}

First Class of 2012 Senior for Cozy, just happens to be my nephew Landon. He was just a wee 5 years old when I married into the family. In fact he was in our wedding, sweet as ever walking down the isle. I won’t embarrass him though, at least not on the blog. ha! We decided two years ago that while at the family reunion of 2011 I would do his Senior session. So we headed to  downtown Pittsfield, IL, in the pouring rain (if you look close, you can see the rain in some of the shots), and found several really cool buildings, doorways and backdrops. I love how they turned out, of course he’s an easy subject to work with. Landon you’re the best and I have faith that you will succeed in whatever you do in life. I am blessed to be your Aunt, even though that sort-of makes me feel old! Especially since you are turning 18!!

Hunter Class of 2011 {Austin Senior Photographer}

This morning I had the pleasure of meeting Hunter- who is now a Vista Ridge High School graduate! We had a great session downtown with lots of variety and too many for his parents  to choose from.  Turns out the boy seniors are WAY easier to photograph than the girl ones, ha! Half the time and no fuss. Thanks Hunter, you are a natural.

All Graduated By Now {Austin Senior Photographer}

Shelby was such a fun senior, her mom was a hoot. Even brought a radio for us to put us in the “mood” it was hilarious! I’m sure Shelby has long graduated by now and is on her way to college soon. Such a fun time for these new graduates.

Posh Puppy {Austin Senior Photographer}

I love when seniors bring their dogs or their car to a photo shoot, so much fun! On Sunday this senior brought her puppy, Willow, who was so good in front of the camera. This was such a fun session that I have to blog more later on it when I finish up. For now Shelby here is a peek…

Jocelyn~ Class of 2011~ {Austin Senior Photographer}

She was up for anything and everything, so that had my head spinning. I LOVE having free range on where to take my seniors. We had a great morning romping around downtown Austin looking for the perfect spots. Jocelyn you’re so much fun! Best of luck to you in college!

Phoebe~ Class of 2011 {Austin Senior Photographer}

I’ve had such a fun time these past few weeks with seniors. More to blog and a couple more last minute seniors in the few weeks ahead. This is such an exciting time for the class of 2011, it brings me down memory lane of my own senior year. Phoebe, you are going to have so much fun in Boston, but be sure to come home and visit your sweet mom every now and then!
