Boys x Four! {Austin Family Photographer}

What a crowd this family was! Four boys, ages 7,6,6,1! It was great fun too. They certainly reminded me of my own lg. family. I could relate so much to this mommy, as we are going through some of the same things, both of us having twins and a lot of boys. I told her it’s the birthday party that never ends. ha! She was nervous about the outcome, but I am always up for a challenge and we were all happy with the outcome. Such a good looking bunch! Thanks Z. family you all are a blast to be with! It’s the wild times like this we need to cherish, one day we’ll have empty houses and it will be quiet. For now we have to embrace the noise. (at least that’s what Rick and I have to tell ourselves daily!)

Mathews Twins {Denver, CO Newborn Photographer}

Long time, no blog! I flew out to Colorado this weekend for some really fun sessions. First up are the Mathews Twins. Now this was not my typical newborn session, I left all the props behind and went all natural. Which actually worked out for the best because the babies are a good 2 months old and I usually shoot newborns at 4-7 days. Older newborns are wonderful in their own ways, they can make eye contact! yea! And can even give a smile or two. Here is a peek of this boy/girl set, you can see that although they are only ounces apart he is or at least seems much bigger. Welcome to the wonderful world of parenting twins S & M! Just get past these few months and it will become lots of fun. :)

We Belong On a Boat Out At Sea…. {My Family}

Our family is headed back on the Disney Cruise line this week! This time we will be on the NEW Disney DREAM which just came out in Jan. 2011. We booked this trip 15 months ago and have planned, talked about and explored every detail about the ship that we possibly could. Cozy will be closed until Friday May 6, while we rejuvenate and spend time with our family aboard the Dream. All emails, invoices, questions, phone calls and what have you will be answered on May 6.

Family Reunion Continued {Austin Family Photographer}

Cassidy & Kendall {Austin Twin Photographer}

I really loved working with this stunning family. These twin girls were much like my twin boys, being 10 lbs and 3 inches apart. Looking more like an entire year apart rather than 2 minutes apart. They were so much fun these girly girls. They talked and talked and talked. Just like my boys do. Their daddy is going to have his hands full when they become beautiful teenagers. ha! Thanks S. Family, I sure hope this last minute session turned out better than you dreamed it would.

And just to see if she’s paying attention: A very special Merry Christmas to one of my favorite Twin mommies, Jennifer. Hope to see you soon & get the kids together!

Last Christmas Shoot of 2009 {Austin Family Photographer}

The dreadful weather finally stopped, just a few short hours before the last Christmas shoot of 2009. It was an honor to spend such a pretty evening on the UT golf course, again! Such a special, calm & peaceful place to be.  What a beautiful family they were. (super model style). They even had a set of twin girls to complete my multiples week! That’s a record for me- 2 sets of twins & 2 sets of triplets in one week! Fun times! More of this lovely family to come.

Sneak Peek Sunday {Woodlands, Kingwood, Houston Family Photographer}

Ok I know it’s not really Sunday anymore but it sounded better than Monday. Here I am editing into the wee hours of the morning. We are back from Houston visiting our family. While I was there I did several sessions. Of course I have not even edited them yet but for now I wanted to get a little something up to show the families. Remember last week I said it was going to be multiples week, well here it goes…

First up a set of beautiful, identical girls. Ever try to edit a set of identicals? Identicals = tricky for editing, (did I show L or was it J? Or did I show the same girl twice? ha!)

And the newest member to their family… baby boy Shawn

Triplet set #1, I met this family when these cuties were only 1 yr old. We had our newborn twins at church and they were new & came over to introduce themselves. Tina taught me the “ropes” of raising multiples. The boys (below) are identical and the middle girly, girl is a carbon copy of her mama.

Kingwood family- I love the next one, such a precious moment caught with this beautiful mommy & her busy toddler. This can only last a half second before he is on the run again!

Ever heard of Irish Twins or Triplets? Well that is what these little ones are… Born within 11 months of each other. (having flashbacks to my own family). The big boy is 12 months older than the girl and the girl is 11 months older than the baby boy. Crazy huh? And the mommy still manages to look so darn good (above).

 Triplet set #2- The Mathews girls, our dear friends in the Woodlands. So they are not technically identical (the two on the left) but according to mommy, only a handful of people can tell them apart. All was well in the first outfit with the monograms and then we changed them into the tutus & I was lost. ha! Aren’t they a site? They are such little firecrackers I love them!

And of course they have a cute big brother to ward off the boys later on… Check out his lashes!

And last but not least…My brother & sister-in-laws family on the train tracks. They are, or should I say Leslie is, super creative and had lots of ideas about wearing the boots on the tracks etc.. I think we captured some fun ones.

So if I don’t answer your emails or phone calls for a few days you’ll know what I am doing. There is so much to catch up on and last minute cards to fill. I promise some more later this week when I come up for some air.
