CD Folio Case {Austin Photographer}

I’ll admit it, I am really bad about showing off all the beautiful items that arrive at my doorstep. I loved the custom folio I created for this wedding couple, it just arrived so I quickly photographed it to share before packaging it up for them.

Barker Wedding {Austin Wedding Photographer}

A little over a week ago I was honored to shoot Keith & Rebecca’s wedding. They could not have asked for a better day, 75 and sunny, beautiful golden light, bright colorful flowers and a perfect location. Quinn/Payne Wedding {Austin Wedding Photographer}

Josh and Ashley were married back in June. Two spectacular venues, St. Mary’s Catholic church in downtown Austin and the reception was at the Windfield Inn, Kyle. The light was beautiful as were the bride and bridesmaids. Thank you all for including Veronika (my second shooter) and I in your special event. Josh+Ashley {Austin Wedding Photographer}

Before heading to Florida I had the honor of photographing Ashley & Josh’s wedding with Veronika, who flew in from CA to second shoot with me. The venues were awesome, beautiful church downtown and then down to Kyle for the reception. We had fabulous lighting and a really nice group of people to work with. Here are a few pictures from the church to hold them over while I finish up the rest. Congratulations to you both and thank you for having fun with us and being SO great & open to all the requests. Flash-less In The Dark {Austin Wedding Photographer}

I have a love hate thing going with the flash. Most of you know I don’t use it at all, it’s not my style. I do own one though for the “just in case” moments. A must have for weddings. I did bring it to this wedding and used it a fair amount and then started toying with not using it on the night shots. Here is what I came up with: The first set was done at 9pm, pretty dark out, very high ISO, 1.8 aperture & slow shutter speed. I love the outcome. It looks like it was actually light out, it was NOT I promise. The dancing ones were really fun too, this location had some great lighting from the dj allowing me to make the stars, love those! And then I loved how they had sparklers at the end, those are always fun to capture.

Sarah + Craig {Austin Wedding Photographer}

Last night I had the pleasure of second shooting a wedding with the amazing Lisa Woods of Now and Then Photography here in Austin. The wedding was held in Georgetown at a fantastic outdoor venue- Kindred Oaks. The choice of colors was so fun & bright, line green and purple with black & white accents. Really fun!
