Beautiful {The Woodlands, TX Family Photographer}
April 11, 2012 – 5:59 pm
I first met this family when I was gigantic-ly pregnant with my twins. This mama, was pushing her 6 week old identical twins around babies r us. We realized that we lived in the same neighborhood (at the time) and even had the same names. We’ve been friends ever since, and we’ve both moved away over the years. Thank goodness for Facebook to keep up with friends right? We met up in The Woodlands over the Easter weekend for a family session. Wow! These couple makes some beautiful babies, too bad everyone is growing up to fast. Time flies and the years go by too quickly. It was so great to see you all, I remember those twin-ners like it was yesterday.

Tate Class of 2012 {The Woodlands Senior Photographer}
February 14, 2012 – 9:24 pm
Tate is probably my most smiley, happiest senior boys. Usually the mom’s are over my shoulder telling the boys to smile. I had to tell him to stop smiling. ha! He has a lot to smile about that’s for sure. Tate is a cancer survivor, great basketball player and friend to all. Here’s a quick peek for you.

I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We certainly have a lot to be thankful for. Our family traveled to Houston to celebrate with our family. While we were there I was so happy to meet up with the Leslies. It’s been a couple of years and the kids have grown so much since our last session. They are by far the easiest three to work with, all smiles and sweet faces! I love the downtown area in The Woodlands, it’s loaded with variety. Here are a few from last night.

August 4, 2011 – 6:01 pm
First Class of 2012 Senior for Cozy, just happens to be my nephew Landon. He was just a wee 5 years old when I married into the family. In fact he was in our wedding, sweet as ever walking down the isle. I won’t embarrass him though, at least not on the blog. ha! We decided two years ago that while at the family reunion of 2011 I would do his Senior session. So we headed to downtown Pittsfield, IL, in the pouring rain (if you look close, you can see the rain in some of the shots), and found several really cool buildings, doorways and backdrops. I love how they turned out, of course he’s an easy subject to work with. Landon you’re the best and I have faith that you will succeed in whatever you do in life. I am blessed to be your Aunt, even though that sort-of makes me feel old! Especially since you are turning 18!!

Hope everyone out there had a wonderful Christmas & mostly I hope you all spent some good quality time with your families. We just returned from Houston, visiting our family. While I was there I shot an engagement session with this fun couple. I am just now downloading the session, but I had to pick out a few to hold them over for a few days while I edit. Thanks DeAnna & Eric it was so nice meeting you all!

If you knew their mama you wouldn’t believe that she could even carry triplets, but she did! All 10 lbs of her, just kidding Tina! These babies were born at 27 weeks?? And now they are almost 8 years old. I love these shots because it shows all their missing teeth, which is such a fun stage to be in. These kids were tons of fun. Thanks J,T & A! You three are such a fun “set”!
Sneak Peek Sunday {Woodlands, Kingwood, Houston Family Photographer}
November 30, 2009 – 1:55 am
Ok I know it’s not really Sunday anymore but it sounded better than Monday. Here I am editing into the wee hours of the morning. We are back from Houston visiting our family. While I was there I did several sessions. Of course I have not even edited them yet but for now I wanted to get a little something up to show the families. Remember last week I said it was going to be multiples week, well here it goes…
First up a set of beautiful, identical girls. Ever try to edit a set of identicals? Identicals = tricky for editing, (did I show L or was it J? Or did I show the same girl twice? ha!)
And the newest member to their family… baby boy Shawn
Triplet set #1, I met this family when these cuties were only 1 yr old. We had our newborn twins at church and they were new & came over to introduce themselves. Tina taught me the “ropes” of raising multiples. The boys (below) are identical and the middle girly, girl is a carbon copy of her mama.
Kingwood family- I love the next one, such a precious moment caught with this beautiful mommy & her busy toddler. This can only last a half second before he is on the run again!
Ever heard of Irish Twins or Triplets? Well that is what these little ones are… Born within 11 months of each other. (having flashbacks to my own family). The big boy is 12 months older than the girl and the girl is 11 months older than the baby boy. Crazy huh? And the mommy still manages to look so darn good (above).
Triplet set #2- The Mathews girls, our dear friends in the Woodlands. So they are not technically identical (the two on the left) but according to mommy, only a handful of people can tell them apart. All was well in the first outfit with the monograms and then we changed them into the tutus & I was lost. ha! Aren’t they a site? They are such little firecrackers I love them!
And of course they have a cute big brother to ward off the boys later on… Check out his lashes!
And last but not least…My brother & sister-in-laws family on the train tracks. They are, or should I say Leslie is, super creative and had lots of ideas about wearing the boots on the tracks etc.. I think we captured some fun ones.
So if I don’t answer your emails or phone calls for a few days you’ll know what I am doing. There is so much to catch up on and last minute cards to fill. I promise some more later this week when I come up for some air.
