Sunflowers in the Storm

Since we were cooped up all week in the house, we decided to venture out in between the storms. We went to a local park intending to play on the playground, but ended up playing in the flooded ditch. I had put the boys in their bathing suits because we were also going to go to the water park for a quick photo shoot in the fountains. Well it was closed due to the floods, and I ended up taking the photos of them in the water. We had a good time and I took some fun shots!

Happy Summer!

We are official bloggers now. I figure this is a good way to keep our family & friends up to date on the everyday adventures of our busy family. As we start our new blog our children are ages:
Griffin & Carson 4 yrs 4 months, Parker 2 yrs 9 months & Cooper 10 months old.

The last 2 weeks has been a flood zone in Austin. We have missed out in our regular swimming routine of twice a day. Mommy has been pulling out the tricks on inside activities! Its getting a little rowdy playing soccer inside. So today the sun finally came out and we headed to the pool, of course after completing yard work & all the other house hold chores. Griffin & Carson love to have daddy throw them high in the air into the pool. Carson asked if he could be thrown up like a rocket ship, Griffin practiced being thrown into the air and doing a back flip into the pool at the same time. Parker enjoys jumping off the side and swimming to the steps. Cooper loves to float on his back & do the frog kick with his legs. Their skills in the water are pretty incredible. They are all little fish, we are so proud of them.
