Triple the Love, Triple the Blessings
October 28, 2008 – 10:48 pm
While we were in The Woodlands I had a session with our great friends Greg & Misty and their beautiful crew. We’ve known them for years, pre-kids. It’s funny because our twins were their guinea pigs while they were pregnant with their 1 sweet baby. Little did we know that they were in for triple the blessings years later. Here are some of my favorites from their session.

The 6 Month Session- A Favorite for Me
October 24, 2008 – 11:49 pm
I LOVE 6 month olds, they sit without crawling away, how’s that for a concept?! My good friend T, found this awesome “fall” with a barn, tractor and vintage truck location that is WAY cool, if anyone else wants to try it out. I had a REALLY hard time choosing what to post on the blog, there were SO many great ones. Here are some of my favs. Not all just some.
The Smiley Family
October 23, 2008 – 9:28 pm
Back in September while we were in The Woodlands, I did a session with our sweet friends The Smiliey family. They are such a fun, full of life family. Some of you may know of the famous Bob Smiliey his http://bobsmiley.com/ Bob is a Christian comedian. Check out his site to see if he’s coming to a town near you. He was at our church this summer. Wendy, his amazing wife, is also a photographer and will be shooting our family shots for Christmas this weekend. (say a prayer for her!) Here are just a few, I am not done with their session but wanted to post a little something for Miss Wendy.

Siblings
October 21, 2008 – 9:30 pm
I will start out by saying I feel so honored, this family drove all the way from Plano (4 hours) for their photo shoot with me. Crazy huh? It was worth it, they were such a sweet family. We set out on Saturday morning bright and early, earlier than a 14 yr old boy would want to be up, that’s for sure. Thanks Ryan for being such a sport! And sweet Olivia, wow now that’s a great 10 yr old. She reminded me so much of my adorable niece Avery. It was great meeting you all!!

Our Little Mermaid
October 20, 2008 – 10:23 pm
Ok so maybe we went a little over the top with this one. Parker wanted a “little mermaid” birthday party. So I created her some front & back invitations on shiny, sparkly thick card stock. They turned out beautiful! Then for her party we and yes I mean Rick and I made her this massive mermaid cake that was the length of her. We started on Friday night icing over 100 cookies (scales) and also made 3 cakes. Of course they were all from scratch. Two were a moist devils food cake, 1 was a sour cream marble cake along with the cupcakes. All had homemade white chocolate cream cheese icing. This was totally a team effort. Rick is fantastic at the cutting, the specific pieces needed. He is a surgeon after all. I’m sure he is a little fearful about what the next theme will be. We have made really fantastic cakes for each of their birthdays. I was telling him that they will grow up and remember their mom and dad working for hours to build and make their special cakes. He’s a great sport and never complained once! I can’t say that many husbands would be as willing to do this on a Saturday.

Several people have told me they have had trouble leaving a comment. We are up and running now, I’ve had it all fixed. So comment away if you will because I am starting to wonder if you all are still out there reading?
