Merry Christmas From our Family

Christmas Blessings to all you readers out there. Here is the front & back of the card our family sent out this year. We are headed to Houston through Wed. Hope you all have a safe and Merry Christmas with your families.

Quick Trip to IL

Unfortunate circumstances brought about a quick trip to IL last week. Rick’s Grandpa passed away this week, so we left Thur-Mon. to IL to be with the family. I will blog about what a great man he was in another post. For now I am posting some photos of our kids playing in snow for the first time. The Hammitt’s own a 265 acre farm in a small town in IL. Its always such a treat to visit the farm & usually its in the summer. I have not yet been in the winter, nor had the children. There is plenty to do even in the cold. Here are a few shots, I have plenty more I will post after Christmas. This was the warm day, in the lower 20′s. The day of the funeral (Sun) brought about 20 below temps, colder than I have ever been in, in my life. Burrr!!

In Birth order: Griffin, Carson, Parker & Cooper

The Hames

How precious are these little guys? Little Luke is in Cooper’s class at church. This is my second shoot with the Hames family. You may remember them from last year. I love working with them because they are so laid back and relaxed & totally go with the flow. Mostly I love working with them because they are such interesting people. They have the coolest job ever, they own a production company and are always involved with exciting new things. Here are some of the favs from the session. I have another, but its on their Christmas card and I know many of those people read the blog. :) SOOO I will refrain from sharing that one.

Tweens on the golf course

I did a Christmas session with this brother & sister set, who were SO easy to work with. We went to the golf course at the country club right behind my neighborhood. The weather was amazing and it was so peaceful and quiet down there. No wonder why people love golf so much! Thanks Ty & Meagan you guys are great!

Good Friends, Old Neighbors

Our friends & old neighbors from The Woodlands came to Austin for a photoshoot for their cards a few weekends ago. We are SO sad that we are not next door to them anymore because they are the best!! We all get along so well and parent in the same ways.  We had a fun weekend at our house the kids played and played while we caught up. Of course I do not have any pictures of Eric & Angel we just took them of the kids this time. Anyway here are my favs…

CA Wedding Shots Part 1

There will be many parts to posting the wedding I shot back in CA with my good friend Veronika. I am starting with the scenery shots. The wedding was located on a flower farm outside of Sacramento, it was breath taking! Here are some for now for those of you that have been asking. I will post more as I edit them, but bare with me there are over 1,000 pictures to go through! ha!!

OH one more thing, the bride was a volleyball player and the groom was a basketball player back in college. They had their rings tied to the balls, it was very creative.

Tucker Turns 1

This little pumpkin just turned 1 yrs old. This is my 4 session with him, he has been on my baby plan for this past year. I have really enjoyed watching him grow (even though I see him every week at church). There is something special about documenting his first year with beautiful images. For this session his big brother joined us for some Christmas shots as well. Here are my favorites.
