The Heintz Family {Austin Family Photographer}

On Sunday I met up with the Heintz family for their Christmas session. This is the second year in a row I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them. Their kids are so mild mannered and sweet which equals easy to work with & lots of great pictures! Here’s a peek for the mama.

I am so very blessed to have re-acquainted with very talented, creative, Lisa over at Now and Then Photography. We met many years ago at church, but then they moved south. Anyway we started emailing back in the summer & had a play date. It’s been so nice to bounce information off of each other, we have so much in common. This year we decided to swap sessions so that we can each have awesome Christmas cards & refresh all the photos in our house. Lisa picked a really cool downtown location. So there we were last Monday night with 7 kids under 7, in an alley, in a “grungy” side of town! It was really fun. But the best part to me, was seeing each others work. We were in the same place at the same time, same lighting etc.. and we both came up with very different images. It was great! Thank you, thank you, thank you Lisa! We will forever charish our beautiful photos. Can’t wait to share Lisa’s version with the blog readers, those are to come in spurts over the next month.
Kyle & Kate {Austin Children’s Photographer}

You’ve seen these cuties before, last year for their Christmas session, Kate’s newborn & her 6 month. My Presley and Kate are 10 days apart, only Kate is like 10 times bigger, taller really. Funny because her mama is not a big lady at all but her daddy is very tall. She also has 2 big brothers (only showing Kyle today). We had a quick meaning as long as these two little ones could hold out. They did great and we were able to get some great ones. I didn’t want to reveal their card picture so I am just showing individuals this time around.

Beware of the picture overload! This family was picture perfect with their beautiful-ness, is that a word?! Anyway, I had a great time with them, their boys are so much fun. The little one is really personality plus with his cute expressions. He had me laughing through the entire session. Big brother reminded me of my 6 yr old boys. I managed to post this entire post and still not reveal their Christmas card pick. How about that?! Oh and thanks to all my Steiner clients from last year that showed me this little piece of “heaven” location. It’s always a big hit.

I got to snuggle with this lil pumpkin today… meet Baby Maddy. Wow what a fun session with ENDLESS photo opts at this house. Between her stylish mommy & Aunt Beth how could we go wrong?! More to come.

Amongst the busy fall-Christmas sessions there always seems to be a rush of newborns waiting for their pictures to be taken. Baby Haddie was a dream to photograph, sleeping the entire time as we positioned her over and over again. What a little sweetie. 5 more newborns on the schedule for the next month so be on the lookout. Gotta get my baby fix- baby girl is turning one in January *sniff, sniff*

I love watching my baby “planners” grow over the year & I really love getting to know their families. This little guy just had his 1 yr session with me last weekend. He is a whole lot of fun and every session was a breeze with this little man. Here are my favorites. The first one cracks me up with his funny hat. Thanks Amber I thoroughly enjoyed working with you over this past year.

Sweet baby Kate from my baby plan turned 9 months so we did some Christmas pictures of the family too. Here is a peek. The blog will be full for the next few weeks with the Christmas rush.
