Beautiful People {Austin Family Photographer}

I really enjoyed working with this family on Saturday. They came all the way from Dallas for the second year in a row for their Christmas pictures. More to come L. family!

Haddie {Georgetown Newborn Photographer}

One of the three sessions from yesterday was this little 10 day old angel, Haddie. Oh how I love those little babies! This one slept and slept and let us dress her up like a little dolly. Here is a quick one for mom & dad while I work on the rest.

Jackson Turns 1! {Austin Baby Photographer}

We had beautiful light this morning as we ventured out for Jackson’s 1 yr. session. He is by far one of my favorite babies to photograph. He has the prettiest face & beautiful blue eyes. A bunch of my baby plan babies are turning 1 this month and next so be on the look out for more of these little babies toddling through the blog. Here is a quick peek for Mama.

Product of the Week {Austin Baby Photographer}

This family wanted an 8×8 album for their little guy to capture his 6 month session. They told me his room was done in a safari theme so I found the perfect album just for him. Introducing the Henry Album: It precious, full of animals and sweet little sayings in it. It’s clean, crisp and is a fabulous keepsake for a  little boy.

Happenings Around Our House…

So last week Rick’s mom took our twins on a trip to IL to the big family farm that we all love. We thought it would be a wonderful time for them to go and experience the fall leaves & cool weather. They had a great time visiting their Great Grandma Hammitt. While they were gone we had only 3 kids, and it was really like a vacation to Rick and I. I ran errands all over town, excited at only have 3 kids under 5 to tote around. It was fun. We also had Parker’s princess party, with 8 little girls over to our home. That was a ton of fun. I will post those later this week when I get to them. I snapped some photos the morning of the party of Parker & Cooper dancing around our bedroom while Rick sang songs and played the guitar. They LOVE to hear him sing & play, what a treat! Notice Parker in her new Cinderella dress (thanks AUNT JILL)! she wears it day & night.

Surfer Family Gone Country… {Austin Family Photograper}

I love this family. We became friends when they moved here from CA 3 yrs ago. Their white blondie surfer boys caught my eye, being that I am from FL and we both had our kids decked out in Quicksilver clothes. This is my 3rd year shooting this family. This year we switched it up. We went country. Now Julie and I were more than ready for a beach session considering all the surfer clothes we had. So it was a challenge to get just the right clothes for the boys. They looked great & were even sporting some new boots, how about that?! What will their CA friends think?

Look closely at this one, up top, that is pouring rain. Yup, first session ever to shoot with full rain coming down. Pretty funny, it worked out well though. The boys were such troopers being that it was only 55 out and raining! I’ll have some more later this week.

Trouble… {Austin Baby Photographer}

She’s not really, but that’s what we call her because she is always on the go. Mostly trying to find the next place to pull up to a stand. This week she discovered pulling books off the library shelf was loads of fun. *Sigh* She has definitely made her mark in our family & loves her siblings. This will be her last week of being 8 months. Moving on to 9 months and maybe walking by the end of it? Maybe not, we shall see!

The Laguna Album

I am really bad about taking pictures  of all the wonderful products that come to my door almost daily. So I’m trying to be better about that. Recently this is one of the goodies I created for a client. It is a 10×10 album, that displays approximately 35 pictures from their session. This book is special because any wording can be added as well & the cover is a custom photo with a beautiful metallic front. It is a hinged album, meaning the pages lay flat on their own, another added touch. This album comes in a 10×10, 8×8 or a 5×5.

The Dowell Family

This family was so great about sticking out the 70% rain chance. It rained up until the last minute and stopped in just enough time to get exactly what we needed. I really think the rain made all the green colors just pop! I’m so glad we didn’t have to reschedule, this family is busy keeping up with S’s cross country meets. It would have been hard to make it work. Thanks Dowell Family!
