Snow Day {Austin Children’s Photographer}

On Tuesday it snowed here in Austin, really, real snow, that lasted more than 15 minutes. It actually snowed from 5am-8pm. We had a few inches to play in. It was great fun. I am so thankful for our great neighbors that came out to play with us. We all built snowmen & snow ladies in our yards. We even had a chance to sled down our hilly yards. That was so much fun! The kids had a blast, and were  freezing but it was worth it. Here are some snap shots from the day. (we couldn’t find a hat for our snowman, but  you all know we have an abundance of bows & headbands laying around so we made a snow lady instead.)

Jackson {Austin Baby Photographer}

This little man is on my baby plan (he graces the top of my blog at his newborn session). Jackson has such a cool, artsy, mom & dad. I just love mom’s style. I had a great time with them downtown. So much variety, cool textures and a lot of options to work with. It’s even better when the mom & dad are up for anything. He is the most laid back baby ever & was so mellow as we messed with him, changed him etc.. not a peep out of him. I don’t believe he knows how to cry! ha!Thanks B. family I look forward to his 1 yr session this summer.

Francie Grace {Austin Newborn Photographer}

First off let me just say: Beware of A LOT of photos. I really loved this session for many, many reasons. This precious family goes to our church and we have prayed with them for a long time for this baby. They went through a long adoption process only to face road block after road block. Looking back we  can see that God had other plans for them.  Our church friends were overjoyed with them when they announced they were pregnant. This couple is one of the most deserving, kindest, loving people you’ll ever meet. I know they will make excellent parents to sweet baby Francie. Thank you Casey & Greg for choosing me to capture her first year, it’s truly an honor. And without further ado…

We’re Back!

We have arrived back from the most amazing, fun, relaxing vacation ever! Seven days of pure bliss. I had never cruised before, and all I have to say is WOW! It’s the only way to go. We look forward to many more cruises in our future. Every last detail was perfect from our great balcony room, to the food, the shows, the staff, the spa, the gym- everything! Here are just a few shots I am posting tonight, I have many more but this is all I will get to for now. As you can imagine the amount of work, emails, orders, laundry that I have to get to! ha! I don’t know how long it will take me to move out of vacation mode & into mommy, multi-tasker mode.

First shot: Montigo Bay Jamaica- looks like a post card huh? Going to blow this baby up for Rick’s office. In Jamaica we went horseback riding in the ocean! More pictures of that to come. (I have yet to download those)

Next up: Grand Cayman- looking so lovely aren’t we?! Just Kidding, we were in vacation mode, remember? We Kyaked for a few miles & then snorkeled in the crystal clear water. What a lovely place Grand Cayman is. It was my favorite stop along the way.

Beautiful sunset- this is Rick sitting on our balcony, reading a book. We also went to Cozumel- I will post those pictures another time.
