Little miss Maddy is turning two this week and she sure was spunky! Thankfully I knew her tricks and was still able to get some good. Thank goodness for a fast shutter speed right? The bluebonnets are the best they’ve ever been here in Austin, due to the massive amounts of rain the last few months. I still have openings left for the bluebonnet minis, so let me know if you are interested. Both Austin & Brenham are available.

It’s that time of year again. Seniors! My favs! I guess they are my favorites because I love how unique and full of variety their sessions are. I try to make each one individual, what would reflect their very own personalities. Each is different in its own way. Lindsay was full of personality and up for anything. She is an artist & her dad is an artist which left us lots of room for a funky, creative session. I love with the mom is in on it too, she was so much fun to drive around downtown with looking for “junk”. Thanks ladies, it was a blast!
On Friday we headed to Pioneer Farms. They were having a home school day, so we met up with some of our favorite home school friends. What a great time! So over at the farm they have people dressed like they would have been dressed back in the 1800s. They are all in character, showing the children how to wash clothes by hand, how to cook, how to milk cows & take care of a farm. The kids loved romping around the farm. The baby animals were super cute too, including a 2 week old baby longhorn and some little chicks. I am completely regretting my decision not to bring my big Mama Nikon, I only had my iphone. I’m happy with what I got but boy what a GREAT opportunity for a fantastic session. Anyone up for it?! Such cool old buildings, barns, fields you name it, it was all there in one great location. I’ve been meaning to post about some yummy new items. When you purchase a digital collection you will receive a customized, keepsake cd case along with your disk of digitals. These are so pretty in hand, thick like a book complete with a metalic finish. So nice! Here are a few that have come in, in the last few weeks.
Austin is really greening up & the tress are starting to bloom. I am so excited about this and am on a search with all my sessions right now to hunt out green grass & pretty trees. Last week I meet up with this incredible family. Ashley & Ryan go to church with us and do so much for our young families class. Ashley’s parents bought this session at a fundraiser for a children’s home here in Austin that our class supports. Here are some of my favorites from their session.
