Josh and Ashley were married back in June. Two spectacular venues, St. Mary’s Catholic church in downtown Austin and the reception was at the Windfield Inn, Kyle. The light was beautiful as were the bride and bridesmaids. Thank you all for including Veronika (my second shooter) and I in your special event. We had a great time and are honored to have captured these memories for you. Now onto the picture overload!
While we were at our family reunion in Panama City Beach, I did a quick (meaning less than 5 min. session) of my brother-in-law and their lovely family. We had it scheduled for Friday night, so Friday night came & so did a huge storm. Ugh! We were determined though to get these pictures done for their Christmas cards. So we ran out there, the sand was beating on our legs, it was nuts. (notice the huge clouds in the background). Turns out storms make for VERY cool backgrounds, even if you are a little scared you may get struck by lightning. ha! I would have never gone through with this if they had little kids, ha! But their 4 kids are troopers and did not complain one bit. Love you guys! Hope it was worth it!

They really were picture perfect, this family is one of the prettiest families I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. And their boys, yup, they really were as calm and as sweet as they look here. In fact I kept thinking, this is too good to be true, 5, 3, and 1 yr old boys that I’m not having to chase after for one good shot? Nope not them. Thanks L & S for such a fun time.
I’m sure you all have seen this family on the blog a number of times. Baby Emery, now the big sister, was on my baby plan a couple of years back. I love watching this family change and grow. Their children are so sweet & we always manage to get some good shots, even if it gets a little crazy at times. That’s just how it goes with 3 kids 2 and under. Jay & Jessica, you handle with such ease. These are my favorites this time around…
Before heading to Florida I had the honor of photographing Ashley & Josh’s wedding with Veronika, who flew in from CA to second shoot with me. The venues were awesome, beautiful church downtown and then down to Kyle for the reception. We had fabulous lighting and a really nice group of people to work with. Here are a few pictures from the church to hold them over while I finish up the rest. Congratulations to you both and thank you for having fun with us and being SO great & open to all the requests. Our family just returned from a very fun week at the beach in Panama City Florida. We went for Rick’s family reunion, and it was a blast. There were 70 of us that came from TX, AZ, AL, VA, TN, PA and NC. We all stayed in one high rise condo building. The condos were huge, very lg. balconies that wrapped around the condo all with ocean views. I think the best part was being able to step out right onto the beach or to the pool & not have to gather the kids into the car all week. They had such a blast on the beach, starting at 7am each morning. Our kids are cousin crazy, it’s so fun to watch. Here are some quick pictures, the only ones I was able to get to tonight. A special shout out to Tim, my brother-in-law who did a fantastic job taking our family pictures on the beach in the early morn.
