Mine on Monday #38 ~She’s a TOOT~

I’m sure you’ve all been wondering why you haven’t seen my “lovely” little children’s faces in such a long time. I mean with five kids you’d think I’d post at least one of them every now and then.

Well this is why; exhibit number 1:

My two year old flat out refuses to look at the camera and throughs a big fit when she sees  it coming near her. Including my iphone. It takes a whole lot of tricking to get her even to look over in my direction. *sigh* and then when she does, that is what I get, a look of “Are you done yet?” I can only imagine what our Christmas cards will look like this year. ha! Gee I wonder where she gets it from?! Yup you guessed right, big sister Parker has been pulling this stunt for 6 years now. Nice huh? and yes, her big pretty blue eyes have gone green since she has appeared on the blog. It’s funny all 5 kids have been the same way- first two year bright blue, then at 2 1/2 they all go green.

Exhibit #2- Oh look here she is again… avoiding me.

The Older Newborn ~ 19 Days ~ {Austin Newborn Photographer}

This baby girl didn’t want to miss a thing! She was alert and wide awake for her entire session. It was so nice meeting you D. family here is a very quick peek while you wait on the rest.

A Perfect Addition {Austin Newborn Photographer}

She’s a perfectly pink addition at only 5 days old. This hot August weather knocked her out in an instant! No need for a swaddle huh?!

On The Green {Austin Family Photographer}

Before you all start asking where in Austin is this GREEN GREEN grass…. These were taken in Osage Beach, MO where it actually  rains and the land is lush. This beautiful group is  Rick’s brother and  family. On the way to the reunion we met up with them and stayed at the Tan Tar A resort. They are a big golf family, traveling around on the weekends to keep up with Maddy’s school golf schedule. I’m sure this will all pay off when it comes to applying  for scholarships.  ha! It worked out perfectly to go ahead and take their Christmas card pictures on the golf course since this is such a huge part of their lives right now. Here’s a peek T & L. Love you all!

Landon. Class of 2012. Providence Classical Academy. {Austin & The Woodlands Senior Photographer}

First Class of 2012 Senior for Cozy, just happens to be my nephew Landon. He was just a wee 5 years old when I married into the family. In fact he was in our wedding, sweet as ever walking down the isle. I won’t embarrass him though, at least not on the blog. ha! We decided two years ago that while at the family reunion of 2011 I would do his Senior session. So we headed to  downtown Pittsfield, IL, in the pouring rain (if you look close, you can see the rain in some of the shots), and found several really cool buildings, doorways and backdrops. I love how they turned out, of course he’s an easy subject to work with. Landon you’re the best and I have faith that you will succeed in whatever you do in life. I am blessed to be your Aunt, even though that sort-of makes me feel old! Especially since you are turning 18!!

Family Road Trip 2011

We’re back from a week long road trip through 5 states and nearly 3,000 miles driven! We had several stops along the way with fun activities planned for our kids. Here is a quick collage from my iphone of our adventures. I’m loving the instagram app, it’s so much fun, even better than FB because its all pictures. I’m cozyimpressions if you want to follow.
