Dreamy {Austin Children’s Photographer}

Sweet Ryah, such a dreamy background with the pretty fall leaves this morning. Three more sessions left to finish out 2011! Only a couple of sessions left in January & February so contact me if you are wanting one of those.

The Fall Sparkle {Austin Family Photographer}

We’re back from our quick little get-away. Back to reality, for now anyway until the next trip. ha! The day before I left I had sweet Casen’s 1 yr session along with his adorable family. Love them, super easy to work with and super cute kids. The fall light is so dark and dreary around here right now, but we managed to find some golden sparkle in the mix to brighten things up a bit. While we are so thankful for our much needed rain, it’s been a huge challenge to move 4 sessions a week to new spots. yikes!

Setting Sail {Personal}

Rick and I are celebrating our 12th anniversary in warmth. We are flying out today to Miami to catch a ship to the Bahamas for a long weekend. To all my clients who are waiting on orders, paperwork and so on please be patient I will be back to all emails on Tuesday the 13th. This is a much needed break from photography, I have been working 50+ hours since August trying to take care of everyone’s Christmas sessions, Cards and lots of beautiful newborns this year. This weekend I am leaving my camera at home and taking my iphone for snap shots only *GASP*! Stay tuned I may even share some next week. Photo below is Castaway Cay in the Bahamas, Disney’s Private Island, taken just 7 months ago when we were last there.

The girls will be knocking down their doors one day, look out mom! These two cuties were so much fun and easy to work with. Usually boys have an aversion to having their pictures taken, but not these two! Thanks boys, it was so much fun meeting you both!

Burr At The Barn {Austin Family Photographer}

I’m pretty sure it was the coldest day ever, and the wind didn’t help, but this family stuck it out and we pressed on. Thanks guys!

Pink times 3 {Austin Newborn Photographer}

I loved this family, they were so easy going. Sometimes the mommies of 3 or more babies are the easiest to work with. I guess because they’ve been there, done that. I look forward to baby Isla’s 6 month session!

Pretty in Blue {Austin Family Photographer}

Lovely family, sweet kids. The little guy is the life of this party for sure! You can’t tell from the pictures  but it was just about the windiest day here in Austin, burr! These kids weren’t bothered one bit.

Twinkling Lights {Austin Newborn Photographer}

When I walked into their house on Sunday I spotted a very pretty pink & white princess Christmas tree just for this little angel. I knew we needed to use it. Perfect Christmas card/Birth Announcement huh?! How about that head of hair?! She came out ready for a bow. ha!

This family was so much fun to work with. They were so kind to come down from Temple, I feel honored and so pleased to meet you all. These boys were OH so cute too! They get an award for being almost too easy. ha!

I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We certainly have a lot to be thankful for. Our family traveled to Houston to celebrate with our family. While we were there I was so happy to meet up with the Leslies. It’s been a couple of years and the kids have grown so much since our last session. They are by far the easiest three to work with, all smiles and sweet faces! I love the downtown area in The Woodlands, it’s loaded with variety. Here are a few from last night.
